Keep Your Makeup Simple
Too much makeup… well…. It’s just way too much.
You don’t want to look like you’re trying to hard my over doing your eye shadow wearing makeup that doesn’t compliment your skin tone.
Keep in mind that your skin is aging, changing and evolving right along with you.
That’s why it’s so important to find the right balance when it comes to your skincare products and makeup application.
A little trial and error, or even a professional makeover by a makeup artist can help you find the right look that truly complements you.
So, make it a priority to find makeup products that bring out your best appearance at any age.
Reduce Your Sodium Intake
Eating too much sodium is not only bad for your health, but it makes you retain excess water which causes bloating and adds years to your appearance.
Incorporating more whole foods and decreasing processed foods from your diet will help you look and feel like a new person.
Try replacing table salt with non salt alternatives and add more herbs and spices to your dishes instead.
Wear Clothes That Fit
Avoid being unnecessarily frumpy. You know….. like wearing clothes that are too big or out of style.
Stay far away from over-sized shirts and “Mom Jeans”. It adds extra weight and years to your look.
Staying classic with your style and wearing your true size gives you a neater and polished appearance.
Rock a Sexy Shoe
It doesn’t matter how old you are, if you can wear a stiletto or slay in a cute bootie, by all means, put them on!
Wearing the right shoe is a quick way to help keep you in the latest fashion. They are a great way to complement the right outfit for any occasion.
Think about it.
The same shoe worn by someone in there 30’s can still be rocked by a grandmother in her 60’s.
So keep your shoe collection on point!!
Invest in the Proper Undergarments
Make sure that the undergarments you wear are flattering to your figure.
Looking neat in your clothes can automatically make you look younger and more attractive.
Invest in support bras and underwear that help shape your body properly so that you look your best in whatever you wear.
Keep Your Wardrobe Classy
Staying current is great, but nothing says…”Look at me… I’m Old’… more than a woman wearing all of the latest trends at once.
So avoid following everything that you see the younger generation doing and opt for a few of the latest styles.
Also, you want to avoid showing too much skin, for example a mini skirt paired with a low cut halter top.
Choose to accentuate one body part at a time and pair it with some classic items that cover the body such as a blazer, halter top and a pair of fitted jeans with a nice pump or cute flats.
This will keep you current and classic without making you look like you’re trying too hard.
