The skin is a much-overlooked part of the body.

Lastly, it is also important not to apply extra pressure when exfoliating as to not cause any damage.
There is a need to protect the skin all year round, regardless of the temperature. However, it is especially important to make sure that during the winter months, you are staying well moisturized.
Find a moisturizer that works well for you. Moisture is always important because it hydrates and helps to shield against the elements.
Now when it is hot outside and you are sitting out and enjoying the sun, the your body should be protected by a sun screen to prevent sun burn and possible skin disease.
According to WebMD, you should look for sunscreen that contains at least one of the following ingredients so that you are getting the proper protection from UVA rays.
- titanium dioxide
- zinc oxide
Again, pay close attention to the directions on sunscreen products to assure that you have the right type for your needs.
What you are feeding your body definitely shows up in your appearance. When you are eating the proper foods like, whole grains to prevent dry skin, fruits and vegetables to help prevent premature aging and you are drinking plenty of water through out the day, the skin glows and becomes radiant.
Over indulgence in alcohol , smoking, and a unhealthy diet makes your skin and body start the aging process much quicker.
It’s so easy to grab something out the vending machine when you are at work or stop by a fast food joint because your schedule simply doesn’t allow you much time to prepare a nutritional meal.
However, you can be successful if you plan an eating menu and schedule.
So before grocery shopping for the week, make a list of healthy foods that you can pack and take with you while you’re on the go.
Buy some lunch containers that you can fill with healthy snacks so that you can grab a container and head out for the day.
Preparing your lunches this way doesn’t take that long to do and once you get into the habit of it, you will find it much more rewarding to the way you look and feel.
