To be honest, I didn’t think so…
I had spent years trying one diet after another with little to no success. This never- ending cycle of losing weight and gaining it back… losing weight and gaining it back, had grown really tired.
So, when I came across this book by JJ Smith, Lose Weight Without Dieting or Working Out, I thought to myself… why not?
The title really got my attention and I figured… maybe I’ll learn something different this time….
This book is a very good and easy read and it took me less than a week to complete. I was hooked from the beginning because I was learning so much about what it was that I had been doing wrong all of this time.
The author, JJ Smith, seems to be really compassionate and stresses the importance of being educated about food and how it effects the body.
Detoxify – Cleanse the body of toxins
Eat – Eat healthy foods that nourish the body
Move – Move your body throughout the day (No Gym Needed)
After following this program for 21 days I noticed a huge change in the way I looked and felt. To top it off, I had lost those last few stubborn pounds without starving or working out.
In fact, I was back in my skinny jeans and was looking and feeling better than I had in years.
What’s even better, I no longer worry about gaining the weight back because I have a system.
This book is action packed with all kinds of helpful information. The first few chapters alone makes it well worth the read.
It’s a blueprint for losing weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle that’s filled with all kinds of information like:
- Why exercise won’t make you thin
- Supplements for maintaining your healthy weight
- How to correct Hormonal Imbalances
- What foods to avoid
- How to stop weight gain during Peri-menopause and Menopause
Now I will say this, the first 10 days of this program, the cleanse, was a little rough for me at first.
In fact, I was ready to call it quits by day 3 and go grab a cheeseburger. But, I’m so glad I didn’t.
The important thing to remember here is to just keep going and stay focused. It was easier by day 4 of the program and I was already down 3 pounds.
Once I got past the cravings, I was on easy street. Learning how to detoxify, eat the proper foods, and incorporate more movement throughout the day worked and it made so much sense.
It was amazing to see how good I could look and feel without counting calories and fat grams, and I have JJ Smith to thank for that.
Overall, I’ve learned some invaluable information, lost weight and I now have guide for the healthy life that I’ve always wanted.
