Get in the habit of moving your body daily.
If a majority of the day your body is resting, then resting is exactly what the body will want to do.
However, when the body is in the habit of moving throughout the day, it will crave movement.
To help prevent heart disease and stroke, the American Heart Association recommends that adults get at least 30 minutes of cardio 5 days per week.
So get moving when you can because it truly is beneficial for the mind, body and soul.
Communicate with Others
Make a conscious effort to step from behind the cell phone or the computer and actually meet up for coffee or lunch from time to time.
Face-to-face communication, with friends and family, encourages better relationships and provides a bond that you just cannot get on social media or a text message.
Visit the Doctor
Now, this is not going to be a favorite for many people.
But being proactive when it comes to your health is not only smart, It can save your life. Making the necessary appointments in advance can keep you on schedule and informed of health concerns.
So get your annual check ups as needed.
Relaxation is so very important to the body, mind and soul. It’s like a battery. Without it, you can’t function at the level that you need to.
So take time to relax every day.
One of the most important things is getting a good night of uninterrupted sleep. It does wonders for the body and can make all the difference for a productive day.
