Shiatsu Face Massage
Shiatsu, meaning “finger pressure”, is a Japanese massage technique that is like acupuncture because it helps with freeing up the energy flow based on different pressure points in the body.
This form of massage is said to assist with toning the muscles, improved circulation and revitalization.
If you think about it, years and years of facial movement along with the aging process really don’t work in favor of our looks over time.
Muscles become lazy and start to sag as the skin matures. That is the main reason that wrinkles and creasing in the skin are often noticed around the eye and mouth area when this happens.

Before you start your facial massages make sure that you wash your hands and cleanse your face. Follow the cleansing process by applying a good moisturizer to the face and neck.

There are certain tools that you may purchase for facial massage, however, your hands are really all that you need to achieve better looking skin and a more youthful glow.
It is strongly suggested that you invest in a good facial moisturizer, if you don’t have one already.
Moisturizing your face protects it from dryness, keeps it soft and smooth and helps to prevent stretching of the skin while performing these exercises.

Relax Frown Lines
Make sure moisturizer has been applied. Place the pads of your fingers firmly against the center of the forehead, applying light pressure. Sweep upward towards the top of the head for 10 seconds. Repeat if necessary.
Gently pat your face with your hands all over for approximately 10 seconds to increase blood flow to the face.
Take the middle fingers and gently press the temples of your face. Now massage in a circular motion for approximately 10 seconds.
Follow that by spreading your fingers apart as you massage the head, starting with the hands being placed right above the ears as you massage the entire scalp. Continue this massage for approximately 2 minutes.
