It wasn’t until I was getting an eye exam a few years back that I even thought about using coconut oil, and honestly I don’t remember how my optometrist and I even got on the subject.

But, I became really interested when he told me how excited he was about it.

He explained how frustrated he was about his eczema condition.  The creams that he had been prescribed never really worked well for him..

After suffering with this skin condition his whole life, he finally decided to look for a natural solution.

Prevent Premature Wrinkles Now

Now, it may be true that there are products on the market that may help to reduce or somewhat reverse the appearance of wrinkles.

But, preventing wrinkles from creeping up on the skin before they should, will help with your appearance and skin health.

Exfoliate

Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the skin so that the newer skin is revealed.  It usually involves gently scrubbing the skin in a circular motion as to cleanse and rejuvenate the skins surface.

Skin collects dirt, makeup, and oils that cause it to look dull and wrinkled.  But, exfoliating the skin can unclog pores, clear blackheads and make the skin look and feel more youthful.

Cleansing the skin this way should be done no more than twice a week and is very beneficial when followed with a good hydrating cream to help lock in moisture.

Drink Water

So… being that the human body is made up of more than 50% water, it makes a lot of sense that drinking an adequate amount of water on a daily basis will help to increase hydration and decrease wrinkles.  The amount of water needed really depends on activity, gender and overall health of the individual.

However, the key thing to remember is that water should be your go-to-drink throughout the day.  Alcoholic beverages and sugary drinks should be kept at a minimum.

Stay Moisturized

Keeping your skin properly moisturized on a consistent basis is very beneficial.  It helps the skin along by giving it protection and a smoother appearance.  Look for ingredients that help to contain moisture such as aloe and glycerin, so that the skin can remain moisturized longer. The skin is a much-overlooked part of the body.

If you don’t currently exfoliate , please make it part of your weekly cleansing regimen.  You will also want follow directions of the cleansing products that you are using.
